Dr. McEvoy attended Johns Hopkins University (BA 1979) followed by University of Maryland Medical School (MD 1983). He completed his residency training at Medical University of South Carolina in 1986. He is a member of the Academy of Family Practice and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice. Dr. McEvoy lives in Woodbine, MD along with his wife Molly. In his spare time, Dr. McEvoy enjoys reading, fiddling with computers and playing guitar. He also spends time with his Labrador Retrievers.

Dr. Stephen Sikorski
Dr. Stephen Sikorski attended the University of Maryland, receiving a B.S(1974). in Biochemistry . He then earned a MS (1976) in Medicinal Chemistry from UMAB. His M.D. was conferred in 1983 from the University of Maryland Medical School. He completed his residency training at York Hospital in 1986. He is a member of the Maryland Academy of Family Practice and the American Academy of Family Practice. Dr. Sikorski lives in Carroll County with his wife Kathi. He enjoys reading, watching old movies and chasing his grandchildren
Dr. James Forsberg
Dr. Forsberg, who graduated from Hofstra University (BA Biology 1979), received his medical degree from the University of Rochester (M.D. 1983) in Rochester, New York. He subsequently completed his residency training in Family Practice at York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania in 1986. Dr. Forsberg is a member of both the Maryland Academy of Family Practice and the American Academy of Family Practice. He lives near Libertytown, Maryland along with his wife Ellen , and their three children. Dr. Forsberg actively serves on the Board of Directors of the Alpha Pregnancy Center in Reisterstown, Md and as an elder in his church. Dr. Forsberg is an avid fan of the Baltimore Ravens.
Dr. Elizabeth Pallan
Dr. Pallan is Board Certified in Family Medicine. She received her medical degree from University of Madres, India. She did her residency training in Baltimore, Md, She completed Pediatrics and Internal Medicine at St. Agnes Hospital and Anatomic Pathology at Mercy Hospital. Before settling into Family Practice full time, she also worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital doing research in Pediatrics on inherited diseases in the pediatric population. She is very active in her Parish and various mission activities. Enjoys traveling and spending time with her family
Dr. Nilar U
Dr. U graduated with a B.S. degree from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia. She studied Basic Sciences in St. Maarten, Netherland, Antilles and did her clinical's in Waterford, Ireland and St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. U completed her residency at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. She is board certified in family medicine. She lives with her husband and loves, mediation, cats, Disney Theme Parks, Karate and enjoys cooking.
Mary Alice S. Shores, CRNP-F
Ms. Shores is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing at the University of Maryland and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau National Nursing Honorary Society. She earned her Master Of Science in nursing at the University of Maryland and has been practicing in Carroll County for 12 years, the last three at Carroll Primary Care. In addition to treating patients with acute and chronic illness, she enjoys working with patients on health maintenance, illness prevention, smoking cessation and weight loss issues. Her leisure time is spent volunteering for Special Olympics in Howard County, piano, needlework, cooking and family activities.
Kimberly Pfister has been working at Carroll Primary Care since November, 2010. She received her Physician Assistant certification through Anne Arundel Community College and Masters of Medical Science from Saint Francis University in July, 2010. Prior to Physician Assistant school Kim graduated from University of Maryland with a bachelors degree in Biology. She grew up in Forest Hill, MD and currently lives in Olney, MD with her husband and their new daughter. She enjoys spending her free time with her family, friends, and dog!
Angela Marts earned her Masters of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant studies from Salus University in Sept. 2013. Prior to Physician Assistant school, Angela graduated from York College with a B.S. in biology and worked as a home health aide for the elderly. She currently resides in Reisterstown, MD with her husband and dog. She enjoys reading, baking, and being outdoors.
Erica Carnright has come to Carroll Primary Care from Moon Ship, Pennsylvania where she grew up. She attended Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock Pennsylvania, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology, with a minor in Public Health. There she made the dean’s list seven semesters. She went on to obtain her Masters of Physicians Assistant Science from Gannon University in Erie Pennsylvania. She has a publication on HPV and Cervical Cancer Prevention published in Clinician Review. She has been active in volunteering and was a part of the Haiti Medical Mission Trip with GCVM and has donated her time to many other volunteer organizations. She currently resides here in Maryland and enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and her dog.
